New Xiaomi FlipBuds Pro update optimizes Bluetooth connection and more

Xiaomi is releasing a new firmware update for its new FlipBuds Pro. These Mi Noise Cancelling Headphone Pro already has several amazing features and the new update makes them more powerful.

Anyways, the earbuds have been upgraded to version 7.6.1.3, which improves some old features as well as optimizes wearing detection. It further optimizes the prompt sound and the Bluetooth connection power consumption. (The changelog for the update is mentioned below.)

Previously, the device received 7.6.1.3, which enhances the users’ experience and improved the notification sound of the earbuds.

Besides, users can connect two pairs of these earbuds to a single smartphone or laptop to share the audio output between two people. Moreover, the buds have a high-gloss all-black body that gets a mirror finish and it’s the only color available, at least for now.

When talking about its internals, the new ANC earbuds are powered by Qualcomm’s QCC5151 ultra-low power audio chip. The company promises 28 hours of battery life in total with the case and up to 7 hours of playback on a single charge.

It supports Bluetooth 5.2, Xiaomi claims that low-latency activities like gaming shouldn’t be an issue on its new earbuds. In addition, Xiaomi FlipBuds Pro comes with a Dual Device Intelligent Connection, which allows you to switch between your smartphone and your laptop.

Right now, the earbuds are only official in their home country but recently, they have received the Bluetooth SIG certification. This could mean its launch in the global version, therefore, for Europe, is just around the corner.
