Redmi Note 9 Pro begun collecting Android 11 update globally

Android 12 beta 1 has been already out for several Android smartphones including Mi 11 series and Redmi K40 series. While Xiaomi tech is still working on proving stable Android 11 updates to its eligible smartphones.

In the past couple of weeks, the tech giant has sent Android 11 to a bunch of Redmi and Mi phones. Meanwhile now, the update has been rolled out for Redmi Note 9 Pro globally.

The new-gen Android comes with several new and improved features, such as Chat Bubbles, in-built screen recording, notification history, better privacy controls, one-time permission for apps, and much more.

However, the changelog for the update doesn’t mention any major changes it only mentions “Stable MIUI based on Android 11”. Adding to this, after you update your handset with the latest version, location info can be now reported automatically before the device is powered off.

The Android 11 update for Redmi Note 9 Pro can be identified via the build version V12.0.1.0.RJZMIXM. To experience it, users will need to download and install the package of 4.9GB on their respective smartphones.
