Recently, the MIUI development team has reported that the arrival of MIUI 12.5 will be delayed for many devices. It should be noted that this is happening due to optimization issues with Android R (Android 11) of this new version of MIUI.

The report further reveals the name of the affected devices, which are – Mi CC9 (Mi 9 Lite), Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition, Mi 9 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 8 Pro. Anyways, the arrival of MIUI 12.5 to these is expected for July via Global ROM.
