Recently, Xiaomi has announced a partnership with the famous mobile game PUBG. According to the reports, the tech giant is now officially the smartphone partner of PUBG Mobile eSports 2021 for Southeast Asia and Europe.
The partnership is mainly meant to highlight the Redmi Note 10 5G phone, which is launched in Malaysia on May 28. In addition, Xiaomi will be sponsoring RSG Malaysia for this year’s PMNC.

The tournament serves as a qualifier for the PUBG Mobile Pro League Singapore/Malaysia (PMPL MY/SG) Season 4, so the stakes are quite high. Anyways, the qualifying round has been started on June 1 and will continue to June 18 in Malaysia and in Singapore, it will be held from June 21 to June 24.
Teams and players who qualify in the Squad and Solo categories respectively will progress to the Zone Finals for a place in the Grand Finals. The top four Malaysian teams in the Grand Final will qualify for PMPL MY/SG Season 4, while the 5th to 10th ranked teams will fight again to qualify as a wild card team.
On the other side, the top 10 teams from the Singapore Qualifiers will face six wild card teams from PMNC in the PMPL MY/SG Season 4 Qualifier playoffs. The top four from the playoffs will get a chance to play in PMPL MY/SG Season 4.
In addition, there will also be a PMNC fight for the Redmi Note 10 5G, in which the viewers who vote for their favorite PMPL players will fight alongside the team. These matches will take place from June 19 to June 20 and July 3 to July 4, with 16 teams competing each day.
The people involved include “selected PMPL players, Mi fans and Xiaomi employees”. Each day one winner will be selected and rewarded with the Redmi Note 10 5G. The registration for the showmatch will begin on Mi Community from June 4 and will be aired live on the Facebook pages of Xiaomi Malaysia and PUBG Mobile Esports Malaysia.
