There has been a bunch of reports from several Xiaomi smartphone users on the community forum. It is strange to see multiple devices affected by the same hardware-related bug.

Moreover, some Redmi Note 10 Pro, Poco X3 NFC, and Poco F3 users have complained about the proximity sensors. The proximity sensors are the ones that help turn off your screen when you place your phone near your ear while taking a call.

Its advantage is to increase battery life during a call, not to mention accidental touch prevention so that your ears don’t open some random music or video or anything else when you’re on a call.

Whereas as per the reports, the display lights up continuously during calls. The issue allows the display to be lit for the entirety of the call session. We believe that this is an annoying issue.

But the proximity sensor issue is set to be solved soon, the company has revealed it in their recently published MIUI Weekly Bug Report.
