Launched back in October 2020, the Poco C3 smartphone is a rebranded version of Redmi 9C in India. However, the handset came pre-installed with the Android 10 based MIUI 12 operating system but it is eligible to receive Android 11 and MIUI 12.5, hence, it will soon receive a major update.
Right now, it is grabbing the latest April 2021 Android security patch for system security enhancement. It will also save your device from bugs and viruses. Moreover, the official changelog also mentions a new feature that is Location info can be now reported automatically before the device is powered off.

Anyways, the new firmware holds the Android 10 based MIUI 12 version V12.0.9.0.QCRINXM. And, to experience it, users will have to download and install the package of 1.7GB on their handsets.
