New Redmi Smart TV spotted at Google Play Console with key specifications

Xiaomi is one of the leading smartphone manufacturers globally. In the past few years, it has become a reliable Smart TV brand as well. Not only Mi but the company’s sub-brand Redmi also started selling TVs in the markets.

Recently, Redmi launched its Smart TV X65, X55, and X50, the first Redmi TV in India. Now, another Redmi TV has entered the network. According to a well–known tipster, Mukul Sharma, a new Redmi Smart TV has appeared on the Google Play Console listing as a part of Google Supported Devices.

The device has a has model number MiTV-MOOQ3 and codename “Tarzen”. The listing further shows that the TV has support for Full HD screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by a MediaTek T31 chipset with 2GB of RAM.

Moreover, the TV  is running on the latest Android for TVs, the Android 10 operating system. Aside from this, the size of the screen is not yet revealed. Based on the configuration of the upcoming Redmi Smart TV on the Google Play Console, it could be in the budget category.

Also, we cannot clarify in which market the TV will be launched. It’s expected that the device could soon get announced in the Indian market as the company has already set a Redmi launch event on May 13. We expect teasers from the brand related to this in the coming days or weeks.
