Latest MIUI 12.5 beta update comes with several Browser changes

Xiaomi has recently begun rolling out out the stable MIUI 12.5 update in China. Several Xiaomi smartphones such as Mi 10 Ultra, Mi 11, Mi 9 SE, Mi 10, and Mi 10 Pro have already received the update. Whereas the OEM will begin roll out the second phase of stable MIUI 12.5 by the end of this month.

Moreover, as per the company’s MIUI 12.5 rollout plan, some old devices such as Mi 8 series, Mi Mix 3, and Mi Mix 2S will also receive MIUI 12.5 update. However, they are not eligible for Android 11.

Aside from this, Xiaomi has now begun sending a new MIUI 12.5 beta update in China, which can be identified via version 21.4.14. Moreover, the new beta update adds a video download progress bar prompt.

It further optimizes the layout effect of reading mode for making reading clearer and browser performance to make its use more smooth. For more information, check the changelog below.

On the other hand, in order to give Mi Fan friends a relatively better experience of using the test version, Redmi K40 will release the test results later. Due to the issue of camera crashes in certain scenes being repaired, Redmi K40 Pro and Mi 11 Pro are expected to be released before 24:00 tomorrow.

Starting from April 24, 2021, Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro, and Mi CC 9e will stop the development version internal beta test.
