Xiaomi Mi 11X series India launch scheduled for April 23

Earlier this month, Xiaomi has confirmed that the Mi 11 Ultra will be launched on April 23 in India. But it seems that the Mi 11 Ultra will not be the only smartphone that is releasing on April 23. The company has announced that Mi 11X series will also be introduced on the same day.

The series will reportedly include two smartphones – Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro. Moreover, the CEO said, the lineup will give extreme performance and will have an exceptional display, camera, sound, and design.

Moving forward, however, there’s no official confirmation but previously it was reported that these two smartphones will be the rebranded versions of Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro respectively. Also, the CEO hinted at it by saying “exclusive/customized for India”.

Redmi K40 and K40 Pro specification:

Both the phones sport a 6.67-inch E4 AMOLED FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch response. The base model is powered by Snapdragon 870 SoC while the Pro model equips Snapdragon 888 processor.

Both of the models have an AI triple rear camera setup, a 48MP primary sensor can be seen in K40, and a 64MP primary camera in K40 Pro. Other camera specs include an 8MP wide-angle lens and a 5MP macro lens. There is a 20MP camera on the front for selfies and video chats.

The products are pre-packed with a 4,520mAh battery that supports 33W fast-charging. Now in terms of software, they run Android 11 based MIUI 12 out of the box. Interested viewers can check the detailed spec sheet here and here.
