Xiaomi could replace MIUI with new-gen Mi TaleUI

Xiaomi fans may have known that the company was established 11 years ago on April 6, 2010. Since then, Xiaomi has appeared with its own Android-based custom skin MIUI. The MIUI 12.5 is the latest offering from the company.

Meanwhile, a new teaser appears online claiming the end of MIUI and the beginning of new software. As per the latest information, there will not be MIUI 13 but a completely new shell, Mi TaleUI.

The new user interface that will be in Xiaomi’s project can start with the Mi 11 range via software updates. After Xiaomi Mi 11 series, other new smartphones could receive it or the upcoming handsets will be pre-installed with it.

Right now, we only have a blurry image that surely hides a Mi 11 along with the new user interface. We can assume that the screen has a collection of screen widgets, buttons, or even “tiles”. A few years ago, the term “tiles” refers to the backbone of the Windows Mobile smartphone interface.

Moreover, if the new information goes true, the MIUI will end its journey here (on MIUI 12.5) and start a new phase with the new Mi TaleUI. Moving forward, the blurred image says that it will be available for the Mi 11 smartphone family, therefore, we believe that it won’t be long to get news about Xiaomi’s new custom skin.

Aside from this, the MIUI (MI User Interface, pronounced “Me You I”) has accompanied the evolution of Chinese smartphones since the first versions of the Android operating system.

Following the release, MIUI was originally not equipped with Google services due to some restrictions in China. They were later added to the phones that were shipped in other countries.

As of now, this is unofficial news, we expect that Xiaomi will soon declare the truth. And, as soon as the new information arrives on this matter, we’ll make sure to update you.
