New MIUI 12.5 beta update comes with updated volume panel view

Xiaomi has recently begun rolling out out the stable MIUI 12.5 update in China. Several Xiaomi smartphones such as Mi 10 Ultra, Mi 11, Mi 9SE, Mi 10, and Mi 10 Pro have already received the update. Whereas the OEM will begin roll out the second phase of stable MIUI 12.5 by the end of this month.

Moreover, as per the company’s MIUI 12.5 rollout plan, some old devices such as Mi 8 series, Mi Mix 3, and Mi Mix 2S will also receive MIUI 12.5 update. However, they are not eligible for Android 11.

Aside from this, Xiaomi has now begun sending a new MIUI 12.5 beta update in China. The latest update can be identified via version 21.4.9. And, the official changelog for it mentions optimization in some issues that affect the experience.

Adding to this, as per a report, the volume panel view of MIUI 12.5 has also been updated. You can check the new-looking volume panel in the attached screenshots below.

Other than this, Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra are expected to release the development version internal test this week. In order to give Mi Fan friends a relatively better experience of using the test version, Mi 9 Pro, Mi 10, Mi 10 Pro, Mi 10 Ultra, Redmi K40 Pro, Mi 11 will give the test results later.

Moreover, the release of Redmi K40 and Mi 10S is suspended today as the company is investigating the recording failure of Xiao Ai in a specific scene and the lock screen stuck in a specific scenario.

Besides, starting from April 24, 2021, Redmi Note 7, Redmi Note 7 Pro, and Mi CC 9e will stop the development version internal beta test.
