Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 to support handheld PC mode, parallel windows, and more

Xiaomi has recently released a bunch of new smart products in a mega launch event. Now the company is preparing to launch more products such as Mi Pad 5. Previously, the tablet was expected to be released on March 29 but later the company denied the date.

Now coming to the new information, a Chinese blogger has leaked some of its expected features. As per the social media post, the new tablet will feature display functions that are similar to the Mi Mix Fold.

In other words, we can suppose support for the handheld PC mode, parallel windows, dual-screen drag and drop, and more. The tipster also said that the PPI of the display would not be very high, which will also support a high refresh rate.

Unfortunately, it is unknown which processor the device would ship with, the blogger said that it will feature Snapdragon 8 series processor. It could be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor.

Now as per the previous practices, the new Mi smart tab will feature a side fingerprint solution. And, in terms of camera, it will be equipped with a 20MP+13MP camera. Also, it is about 8.13mm thick and weighs about 510g.

Adding to this, a report claims that Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 may have two versions, one is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chip while the other one equips MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chip. However, this does not rule out the relationship between 5 and 5 Pro.
