The Chinese OEM, Xiaomi has kicked off a new software update for Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphones in Europe. The update mainly installs the February 2021 Android security patch.
The security update saves a device from bugs and viruses and improves the security of your device’s system. Moreover, the new update can be identified via the Android 10 based MIUI 12 version V12.0.4.0.QGGEUXM.
Besides this, the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G is the first Xiaomi device to collect the February patch. Adding to this, some handsets including Mi 10 Lite Zoom, Poco X3 NFC, Redmi 9, and more have also received the update so far.
