POCO sets its biggest launch of the year ‘Power Meet Speed’ for March 22

Yesterday, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Poco has officially confirmed that it will be introducing a new smartphone on March 30. However, the company hasn’t revealed the device’s name but it is expected to be Poco X3 Pro.

Moreover, soon after this announcement, Poco Global also declared a launch event on March 22. Alike Poco India, Poco Global has also not confirmed the device’s name.

Recently, a well-known tipster Mukul Sharma has revealed that Poco will introduce two new smartphones in Global markets. The devices are said to be Poco X3 Pro and Poco F3/F3 Pro. The previous report claims that Poco F3 is a rebranded version of the recently launched Redmi K40.

Besides this, as per the brand, this event is going to be the biggest launch of the company for 2021. With a tagline, “When Power Meets Speed”, the launch poster said, an online launch event will happen on March 22 at 20:00 GMT+08:00. Also, the event will be live-streamed on Poco’s official Twitter, Youtube, and Facebook.

Going by the old information, Poco X3 Pro has already appeared at FCC, NBTCBIS, and SIRIM  databases. The FCC certification for this smartphone claims that the product will arrive with MIUI 12, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE, and NFC.

We have also been reported that the upcoming device will offer two storage variants – 6GB RAM in addition to 128GB of internal storage and 8GB RAM in addition to 256GB of internal memory.

The phone will equip a 5,200mAh battery, Snapdragon 869 SoC, and 120Hz FHD+ display. A piece of information also claims that Poco X3 Pro will be available in three color options – Blue, Black, and Bronze.

As of now, there’s no confirmation on Poco X3 Pro’s camera or other features. Since the Poco X3 has a 64MP quad-camera setup we can expect some improvements in the camera department of the Poco X3 Pro.
