Xiaomi has started rolling out a new software update for Redmi 7 smartphones. The new firmware mainly installs the February 2021 Android security patch for better system protection as it saves your device from unnecessary bugs and issues.
Previously, the device has received the January 2021 security update which added multiple numbers of optimization and new features, as well as fixed some known bugs for users’ experience enhancement.

Moreover, the device was released earlier the last year. It entered the smartphone market with pre-installed Android 9 pie. While it is now running on the Android 10 operating system.
