Xiaomi, one of the largest tech giants doesn’t only deal with smartphones, laptops, and other electronic products. It is also famous for its valuable and impressive mobile applications.
Back in February this year, the company relaunched its Mi Talk app as a Clubhouse clone in China. This is marked as a voice chat app for professionals and is supportable in both Android and iOS smartphones.

It’s been a month now and Metso, Xiaomi’s sub-brand has released a new audio-based social application called “Heyy”. Metso, the Software Design company was bought in the distant past, 2015. Although it is still said to be owned by Xiaomi.
Moreover, the new application has been officially published on Xiaomi Mi App Store. According to the official introduction, Heyy is an online speed dating software, which makes a large number of single users together so that they can find the most suitable person based on their interests.

Adding to this, it lets users connect with other users via one-to-one voice chats, group chats, and games. The group chatrooms are categorized based on sports, karaoke, and games to name a few. There are several other options to socialize with users on the platform.
But why the company launches two apps ‘HEYY and Xiaomi Talk’ of the same type at the same time? However, both services use very similar social vocal forms, their positioning is not the same.
In other words, Heyy is picked out for single youngsters who are looking to meet new people via voice. While Mi Talk is for professionals to share their insights, just like Clubhouse.
