Just recently we have seen Xiaomi’s new patent which shows rotating pop-up camera technology. Meanwhile, the new report claims that the company has applied for another new patent.
The report suggests a foldable smartphone that could be a part of the Mi MIX series. The information arrives from the Chinese social networking site – Weibo and as per the information, the patent is spotted on the QCC app.

However, the actual name of the device has not revealed yet. The previous report says that could be Mi MIX 4 Pro MAX while the new information suggests Mi MIX Fold. Moreover, it is worth mentioning that this smartphone will be the company’s first foldable smartphone.
Moving forward, the social media post also unveils some of the features and specs of the device. According to the post, the product will feature dual displays and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor.
In addition, the report claims state that the handset will sport a 7-inch folding display with a high refresh rate of 120Hz. On the rear, the primary camera sensor will be a 108MP shooter. A large 5,000mAh battery pack will reportedly power the device, which will also support 67W fast charging as well.
It is still unclear whether the device will feature wireless charging or not. But the Weibo blogger added that the device will be released sometime after April this year. And, since there’s no official statement in regards, we can not consider it real.
