The Apple Watch SE will support the crash detection feature announced on the Series 8 and will be 20 percent faster than the first-gen SE thanks to the same new S8 chip found in the Series 8. It also has the same motion sensor. The Apple Watch SE 2 back has been redesigned with a new color-matched nylon compound to reduce weight. The new Apple Watch SE will be available in Silver, Midnight, and Starlight colors, with a new color-matched back.

Moreover, Apple Watch SE will also support international roaming by pairing with the iPhone’s roaming plan. It retains all the standard features of the original SE – Retina OLED display, optical heart rate sensor, fall detection, emergency SOS and water resistance up to 50 meters.

New Apple Watch SE launch

The cellular version of the Apple Watch SE is popular with parents looking to find a way to communicate with school-aged children without using an iPhone, and Apple has announced that the new Apple Watch SE 2 will work with Apple’s Family Settings feature, which is available on the Apple Watch Debuted on SE 2.

This allows parents or caregivers to set up the Apple Watch SE 2 using an iPhone. However, this Apple Watch SE can also function independently. The cheaper Apple Watch Series 3 doesn’t support this feature. The new Apple Watch SE 2 also has a 30% larger screen than the Series 3.

Since its launch two years ago, the Apple Watch SE has been a solid choice for those looking for a more affordable wearable to pair with their iPhone. But it sacrifices some of the high-end features found on high-end models, such as an AOD display and a new temperature sensor, but at a significantly lower price.
