The new AirPods Pro 2 is equipped with a new H2 chip, supports Bluetooth 5.3, and brings stronger audio functions and longer battery life, but it seems that it cannot directly support Apple Music at present.
Compared with the H1, the H2 chip has been upgraded in terms of noise reduction, transparency mode, and sound. However, Apple did not mention lossless audio support for the new AirPods Pro anywhere on its website or at the event.

Additionally, the Apple AirPods Pro 2 does support Bluetooth 5.3, and while that standard doesn’t directly support lossless audio, companies like Qualcomm have been moving in that direction.
Apple also said that when it reaches customers on September 23, the new AirPods 2 Pro has two major selling points that aren’t yet available on iPads and Macs.
Moreover, Apple’s footnotes revealed that personalized spatial audio profiles and Find My for the new headphones will be available with iPadOS 16 and macOS Ventura in October.
That said, only iOS 16 currently includes support for new features, but since iPadOS 16 and macOS Ventura won’t be released to the public until October, iPad and Mac users will also have to wait until the new system is released to get full coverage of the AirPods Pr0 support.
In terms of battery life, the new AirPods Pro has an increase of 1.5 hours of listening time compared to the previous generation, and in active noise reduction mode, the listening time can be up to 6 hours.
The wireless charging case can charge the earphones up to 4 additional times, so you can enjoy up to 30 hours of listening time in Active Noise Cancellation mode, 6 hours more than the previous generation.
Additionally, AirPods Pro features a newly designed sweat- and a water-resistant charging case that includes a lanyard hole to keep the device within easy reach.
The pinpoint function allows users to locate the charging case based on the navigation route provided by the iPhone with the U1 chip. Speakers built into the charging case play louder sounds to help locate the AirPods Pro.
