POCO M2 Pro gets new update in India, brings April 2022 security patch

Xiaomi has started pushing a new firmware update for POCO M2 Pro smartphone users in India. More regions are expected to roll out in a few days or weeks. This update mainly brings the April 2022 security patch update.

The monthly security update primarily focuses on improving the system security and stability to maintain the users’ experience. Apart from these, this update doesn’t bring any additional features and changes.

The POCO M2 Pro users can identify the latest firmware via the Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 build version V12.5.6.0.RJPINXM. It comes with a big software package size of 2.5 GB.

But, the update is currently being released for the Mi Pilot tester, which means that it is available for a limited number of Mi Pilot users, and it will take some days for the public rollout. Now you can download this update via the link described below,

To check the download of the update, go to the System Setting of your smartphone. Now enter the MIUI version and then click on Download and install. Wait for the device to check available activity and download then install it on your phone.
