Xiaomi ranks third in global smartphone wholesale revenue in Q4 2021: SA

Strategy Analytics released a report saying that in Q4 2021, the wholesale revenue and average selling price of the global smartphone industry will increase by 6% and 9% respectively year-on-year, and the whole year of 2021 will also increase by 15% year-on-year.

Moreover, the report noted that Apple maintained its lead and gained revenue share. Samsung followed, with a higher revenue share compared to last year. In terms of revenue, Xiaomi maintained third place, followed by OPPO and VivoHonor surpassed realme and rose to sixth place, followed by realme, Lenovo-Motorola, Huawei, and Transsion.

Furthermore, Strategy Analytics data shows that in Q4 2021, global smartphone shipments fell by 3% year-on-year to 365 million units. In 2021, the annual smartphone shipments will be 1.36 billion units, an increase of 5% year on year.

Among them, Apple will top the global smartphone market with a 22% market share in Q4 2021. Samsung maintained its No. 1 position throughout 2021.
