Strategy Analytics released a report saying that in Q4 2021, global smartphone shipments fell by 3% year-on-year to 365 million units. In 2021, the annual smartphone shipments will be 1.36 billion units, an increase of 5% year on year.

Furthermore, the reports show that Apple’s iPhone shipments in Q4 2021 will be 80 million units. For all of 2021, Apple will be second with a 17% market share, behind Samsung and ahead of Xiaomi.
In Q4 2021, Samsung ranked second with 69 million smartphone shipments, a year-on-year increase of 12%, and a market share of 19%. For all of 2021, Samsung maintained its number one position with a 20% market share.
