As we said, the battery is one of the most sensitive elements in our smartphone. Their degradation may depend on our usage and charging cycles, but nothing is worse for a battery than a sudden change in temperature in a Li-ion battery. Fortunately, Xiaomi phones with MIUI have a “hidden” feature to check the battery temperature when needed.

- MIUI has a native method to know the temperature of the battery. To check this, we will have to enter the “Security” application and go to the battery section. Once inside we will have to click on optimize and make any adjustments that we consider appropriate.
- Once this process is done, it is when we can see the health of the battery, where data such as status, voltage, remaining battery, and the data that interests us most, the battery temperature are shown.
