After the release of the Android 12 operating system, Xiaomi begins testing its eligible smartphones. Many devices, including Mi 11, Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11i, Mi 11X/Pro, Redmi K40 Pro/Pro+ have received beta updates, while other devices will get it soon.

Simultaneously, the smartphone maker is also rolling out the MIUI 12.5 and MIUI 12.5 Enhanced version updates for its relevant devices. Although the company hasn’t stopped sending monthly security patches, sometimes it’s late.
