Back in June this year, Xiaomi introduced Mi TV ES 2022 in China. The televisions came in three sizes such as 55 inches, 65 inches, and 75 inches. Now the tech giant has released a small screen – 50-inch of Mi TV ES 2022.
This new variant is named Xiaomi TV ES50 2022. It carries the exact same set of specifications as the original size variants. However, with lower backlight zones depending on its smaller footprint.

The new product displays a 50-inch LED-backlit LCD panel with 3840×2160 pixels (4K) resolution, 1.07 billion colors, 60Hz refresh rate, MEMC, and 178° viewing angle. The screen supports 94% DCI-P3 color gamut, 600 nits peak brightness, supports Dolby Vision, and has a color accuracy of ΔE≈2.
Processor and RAM:
The Mi TV ES 2022 features the MediaTek 9638 chip, which has AI-SR super-resolution, MEMC motion compensation, smooth gradation to eliminate faults, and other technologies. Under the hood, it houses 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
Audio:
The new television houses a two-channel 12.5W four-unit speaker system that supports stereo playback. Also, it arrives with a built-in XiaoAI voice assistant.
Connectivity:
It supports Dolby Vision, which can enhance the image effect by increasing the brightness and expanding the dynamic range, WiFi, and Bluetooth 5.0.

The new Xiaomi TV ES50 2022 is already available for sale in China at the cost of ￥2399 (around $377).
