Earlier this month, Google delivered the final, fifth Android 12 beta. Now, it’s time for the stable release. As usual, ahead of the launch, smartphone vendors have started testing their devices with Android 12.
The Chinese tech giant, Xiaomi is not different. It has also started testing the new-gen Android in its home country earlier. Now the company has launched the stable Android 12 tester recruitment for its eligible devices globally.

These rollouts will let you experience the Android 12 OS ahead of the official release that may happen in October. To experience it, one will have to apply for Android 12 stable testers recruitment. It should be mentioned that each model only recruits 200 users on a first-come, first-served basis.
Do note that those who have applied for MIUI stable tester previously need to apply again for this Android 12 update. Users with outstanding performance in this testing can continue to retain the testing qualifications and participate in subsequent testings.
Before you apply:
- Applicant’s age should be 18/18+ years.
- Back up your data before updating.

How to Check ROM Version:
Go to “Settings > About phone” to check the version. The character displays：
“MI” means Global Version-11.X.X.X(***MI**)
“IN” means Indian Version-11.X.X.X(***IN**)
“EU” means Europe Version-11.X.X.X(***EU**)
“RU” means Russian Version-11.X.X.X(***RU**)
“ID” means Indonesian Version-11.X.X.X(***ID**)
