Earlier this month, Xiaomi began rolling out the MIUI 12.5 update for its Redmi Note 9 Pro Max smartphones in India. The company has now started releasing a new software update for the phone that installs multiple changes, features as well as fixes for problems.
As per the changelog, the new Redmi Note 9 Pro Max makes a phone lighter, faster, and durable. Response to features is now instant and with 20 times more rendering power, there are now few limits to what you can see on your screen.

It further adds new tools for doodling and sketching, press and hold a sketch to adjust the strokes automatically option, compose mind maps with complex structures, and others.
Moreover, the experts can now save text, URLs, and images to the Notes app in just a few simple taps, the dynamic layouts bring the typography in Notes to a new level, and a gesture shortcut now allows you to create notes, tasks, and excerpts anywhere.
In addition, the fresh firmware also fixes the status bar and notification shade issues, such as the problem that floating notifications weren’t displayed correctly in landscape mode.

The fresh firmware for Redmi Note 9 Pro Max holds the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 build version V12.5.2.0.RJXINXM. It should be noted that currently, the update is only accessible for Mi Pilot testers and will be released widely after ensuring stability.
As of now, we do not recommend other users downloading and installing it as it may harm the system.
