Xiaomi has begun rolling out the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 update for Poco M3 smartphones. This major software update brings a bunch of new features, fixes, and improvements.
As per the changelog, the fresh firmware makes a phone lighter, faster, and durable, when compared to the previous version of MIUI. It further fixes the problem that noise could be heard when the screen was turned off in some cases.
The changelog further mentions, compose mind maps with complex structures, new tools for doodling and sketching, as well as press and hold a sketch option to adjust the strokes automatically.

In addition, a gesture shortcut now allows you to create notes, tasks, and excerpts anywhere, excerpts save text, URLs, and images to Notes in a few simple taps, and dynamic layouts bring the typography in Notes to a new level.
Aside from these, it fixes several Themes issues, such as – navigation buttons weren’t displayed correctly in the super wallpaper settings, wallpapers from the First space were also applied and displayed in the Second space, and wallpapers flashed while the device was being unlocked in some cases.
It further fixes text truncation issues in super wallpapers settings, overlapped during the setup process, incorrect voice prompts for downloading super wallpapers in Accessibility mode, Ul elements overlapped in the super wallpaper, home screen background went black, and others.
Update Version:
Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 update for Poco M3 smartphones can be identified via the build version V12.5.2.0.RJFEUXM. Notably, this version is only meant for Mi Pilot testers and has been only released in Europe.
Other users will soon get access to the update after the company ensures its security and stability.
