Whether it is 4G or 5G, Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite is currently one of the best-selling smartphones worldwide. Earlier this month, we have come to know that Xiaomi has plans to release a new variant of the phone that will be known as Mi 11 Lite NE.
Since then, we haven’t even heard any news about it but now the device is again grabbing the attention. According to the latest information, Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE has appeared in the International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) database.

The listing shows the model number 2109119DG. The ‘G’ here suggests the global version. Notably, the device in its Indian variant “2109119DI” has already been certified by the IMEI certification database.
It looks like, Xiaomi will not take much time to uncover this smartphone in several markets. Anyways, the tipster who leaked the IMEI certification report also claims that Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE is codenamed ‘Lisa’ and is powered by Snapdragon 778G chipset.
Sadly, there’s nothing that has been revealed so far. We even don’t know whether the letter ‘NE’ stands for New Edition or something else. We expect more information to arrive in the coming days or weeks.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G is the first smartphone to come with the Snapdragon 780G chip. The company says this is a “Little Snapdragon 888”. This is because it retains a lot of characteristics with the Snapdragon 888 flagship.
It should be mentioned that the global markets have both the models of Mi 11 Lite, the 4G as well as the 5G. But in China, only the 5G variant is available. Also, in India, the Mi 11 Lite 5G hasn’t even stepped in.
