Xiaomi was the first to launch a Snapdragon 888 5G smartphone, the Mi 11, last year. The Chinese giant has yesterday (March 29) expanded its flagship lineup with the addition of more smartphones. Earlier we have seen Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra. And in this article, we will talk about the Mi 11 Lite.
So the Mi 11 Lite comes in two networking variants – 4G and 5G in global markets while only 5G in China markets. The device is an upper mid-range handset and is the world’s first handset to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G processor.

The Mi 11 Lite sports a 6.55-inch (2400 x 1080 pixels) FHD+ AMOLED display. The display has a 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 (4G) / 6 (5G) protection.

The 4G variant is powered by Snapdragon 732G 8nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 618 GPU whereas the 5G model equips snapdragon 780G 5nm chipset with Adreno 642 GPU.
Storage
The devices come with 6GB or 8GB RAM in addition to 64GB or 128GB storage that will be further expandable via a microSD card.
Software and connectivity
The handsets run Android 11-based MIUI 12 out of the box. And, its connectivity features include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 (5G), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C for charging and data transfer. Also, it supports dual SIM (nano + nano).
Camera
For photography, the Mi 11 Lite’s quad rear cameras comprise a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 5MP macro sensor. On the front, it has a 13MP selfie shooter.

The Mi 11 Lite 5G comes in Truffle Black, Mint Green, and Citrus Yellow colors globally and Sweet Lychee, Cherry Pink, and Cool Blue colors in China.

The Mi 11 Lite 5G starts at EUR 369 and comes in two variants 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB globally. The Mi 11 Lite 4G model starts at 299 for 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB variants.
China
The device 8GB + 128GB variant costs 2,299 Yuan (USD 350) whereas the 8GB + 256GB model is priced at 2,599 Yuan (USD 395).
