A new Redmi Note 10 smartphone known as Redmi Note 10 Lite seems to be launching soon in India. The smartphone has now been spotted in the International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) database.
The IMEI listing reveals the model number 2019106A1I, which has been recently appeared in the MIUI code. The “I” in the model number indicates India. It could mean that the phone will be exclusive to India.

Besides this, the IMEI report doesn’t unveil any of the details on its pecs or launch. We may get to know more in the coming days or weeks.
On the other hand, yesterday, MIUI code pointed that the Redmi Note 10 Lite has the codename “curtana”. Interestingly, “curtana” is the codename of the Redmi Note 9 Pro (India) which is also the device sold in other markets as the Redmi Note 9S.
Thus, the Redmi Note 10 Lite is a rebadged variant of the Redmi Note 9 Pro/Redmi Note 9S. The company is relaunching last year’s phone under a new name.
It seems that the Redmi Note 10 Lite may slightly differ from the old Redmi phones as this is going to be the new generation smartphone. Although it is yet to be seen what changes the company will make in the upcoming phone.
So yes, Redmi Note 10 Lite is indeed launching soon in India. I've spotted the device (Indian variant) on the IMEI database website.
