Xiaomi has begun sending a new software update for Redmi Note 9 Pro smartphones globally. The new firmware mainly installs the July 2021 Android security patch for a better user experience.
This security patch will save your device from bugs and viruses as well as improve the security and stability of your device’s system. Besides this, the changelog for the update doesn’t mention any new features or major changes.

Redmi Note 9 Pro users can identify the update via the Android 11 based MIUI 12 version V12.0.4.0.RJZMIXM. To install it users will have to download and install the package of 2.5GB on their mobile phones.
As mentioned above, right now, the update is only accessible for global ROM users but it will soon be filled by other region users after ensuring stability.
Will Redmi Note 9 Pro get MIUI 12.5?
Of course, the Redmi 9 Pro smartphones are eligible to get MIUI 12.5 updates. It should be mentioned that the major update for the device isn’t too far, it could arrive anytime now.
