Redmi 10 will be rebadged Redmi 10 Prime in India

Xiaomi has recently launched the Redmi 10 smartphone in Malaysia and the rumors about its global debut have already surfed online. We knew that the Redmi 10 isn’t alone, the series will have more models.

A piece of new information claims that the Prime edition of Redmi 10 has been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification database. The listing reveals the model number 21061119BI and the “I” here indicates India.

Notably, the device with the same model number has been previously registered on the IMEI database. It confirms that it will be indeed launching in the Indian market with the Redmi 10 Prime moniker.

Moreover, the screenshot shared by a reliable tipster reveals that the model numbers 21061119AG, 21061119AL, and 21061119DG belong to the Redmi 10. It means that Redmi 10 will be rebadged as the Redmi 10 Prime in the Indian market.

Redmi 10 Specification

  • Display:

The Redmi 10 displays a 6.5 inches FHD+ punch-hole screen that offers a 90Hz refresh rate.

  • Processor and storage:

It equips a new MediaTek Helio G88 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM and gives up to 128GB of internal storage. Also, it has a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion.

  • Software:

The upcoming Redmi 10 runs the Android 11 based MIUI 12 operating system.

  • Camera: 

It has a quad-camera setup that includes a 50MP main camera, an 8MP lens, and two 2MP cameras. For selfies and video chat, it has an 8MP camera.

  • Battery:

It features a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging through USB Type-C.

  • Connectivity:

The connectivity features for the device include dual SIM, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

  • Colors:

The images show three color variants of the smartphone, as shown in the image above –  Carbon Grey, Pebble White, and Sea Blue.
