On August 10, Xiaomi released the improved version of its current custom skin, MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Version. Introducing the new variant, the OEM said that it does not come with new features and it only has optimizations in a few fields.
But it seems that the manufacturers have silently introduced new MIUI widgets with MIUI 12.5 Enhanced. Notably, the new widget system looks like an iOS widget system.

At the moment, Xiaomi is testing the new version only in China, thus, the new iOS-inspired widget system can be accessible there only. As soon as the company releases the enhanced MIUI 12.5 in other regions, more users will get its taste.
Moving forward, according to xiaomiui, the new feature is enabled via the latest App Vault beta version (V5.0.56) and MIUI Gallery version (V2.2.21). As of now, these versions can be only installed on devices that are running on Android 11 based MIUI beta.

New MIUI Widgets
The new MIUI widgets are in four sizes – 2 x 2, 4 x 2, 4 x 4, and 2 x 3. They bring a new ‘Widget Store’ through which users can drag and drop widgets of their choice anywhere on the screen.
In addition, the company has also introduced new system app widgets to make use of the new feature. There are a wealth of widget resources, which can be added to the negative one screen and desktop.
