Black Shark 5 with Snapdragon 888+ SoC is on its way

Black Shark is a famous gaming smartphone manufacturer that collaborates economically and promotionally with Xiaomi. In the first quarter of this year, the company released Black Shark 4 and Black Shark 4 Pro smartphones.

After their successful debut, it seems that the tech is preparing to introduce the fifth iteration of its phones. A recent report by famous Chinese blogger DigitalChatStation reveals gives us a hint at the upcoming Black Shark 5.

He says that the phone certified with the name Black Shark 5, has a model number KTUS-A0. Also, he claims that this device could be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ chipset.

Moving further, it could have support for 100W fast charging technology, probably 120W like its predecessors. Judging by these two features, it looks like Black Shark 5 will be a minor upgrade over Black Shark 4. It is believed that they could have most of features similar.

Black Shark 4 Specifications:

Black Shark 4 flaunts a 6.67-inch Full HD+ screen with 144Hz refresh rates and a snappy 720Hz touch input rate. The Vanilla model is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chip.

The device comes with the Android 11 based JouUI 12.5 operating system and a 4500mAh battery with fast charge 120W support. It is equipped with a 48MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 5MP super macro camera. On the front, it has a 20MP selfie shooter.

Black Shark 4 is available in five colors – Magic Mirror Black, Ink Sea Black, Lingguang Gray, Storm Blue, and Sakura Dance Pink.
