Xiaomi is releasing a new MIUI 12.5 beta update for its eligible Mi and Redmi smartphones in China. Identified via the build version 21.8.9 and 21.8.10, the firmware brings a bunch of bug fixes for users’ experience enhancement.
As per the changelog, it fixes the problem that the floating notification of missed calls occasionally appears abnormal, the exception that the suspension permission of missed calls failed to open, and the issue of unusual flickering of floating notifications caused by the avatar space.

Moreover, the anomaly that the media control panel does not occasionally appear in the notification bar when playing music, the unusual jitter in the time display area of the sliding page after pulling down the notification bar has also been solved.
