Xiaomi’s MIUI is among the most loveable custom skin worldwide. In the past few years, it has been improved by the tech and has been praised by its users. Well, there are also some people who have problems with MIUI.
Meanwhile, it seems that the jury at Red Dot belongs to the former group as they presented three awards to MIUI. Yes, MIUI Official has formally revealed through its Weibo handler that Xiaomi’s mobile operating system has received 3 Red Dot Awards.

The Weibo post says that MIUI wins Red Dot Awards 2021 for its ‘Haptic Feedback’ system and ‘Natual Sound Museum’. MIUI users may have known that these are two of the best features of this custom UX.
The Haptic Feedback System wins in the ‘Interface and User Experience’ category, whereas the Natual Sound Museum wins in both ‘Sound Design’ as well as ‘Interface and User Experience’ categories.
Notably, the Haptic Feedback is only available on upper mid-range and premium smartphones. While the vast library of Natural Sound Museum is limited to China.
Xiaomi’s MIUI
The MIUI 12.5 is the latest offering from the Chinese tech giant. Basically, it is an update for the older MIUI 12. This isn’t only limited to new smartphones but the company is also sending it to old smartphones that run on Android 10.
This could be because the upcoming MIUI 13 will be based on only one Android OS that is Android 12. Well, this isn’t yet officially confirmed but several details reveal it.
