Xiaomi is holding the autumn new product launch conference on August 10 in China inc which several new products will be uncovered. The tech has already announced the launch for Mi Mix 4, second-generation OLED TV, its first high-end speaker, and the much-awaited Mi Pad 5.
Today, Xiaomi officially released a new teaser poster of Mi Pad 5 on its official Weibo handle. The poster shows the appearance of the upcoming tablet’s keyboard case and part of the body.

The company said, “In addition to using a small notebook to remember the password, this time you can also use the key.” Moreover, judging by the picture, this keyboard protector shell uses a harder material with a fine leather texture on the surface.
The keyboard adopts a standard arrangement design, using a chocolate floating island keycap, the arrow keys are compressed, and no additional multimedia keys are currently seen. In addition, the poster can also see that this tablet uses a rounded screen.
Besides the latest info, the Mi Pad 5 is confirmed to be equipped with a pressure-sensitive stylus. The body adopts a sandwich structure and a straight frame design, which helps to reduce the loss caused by bumps.
Furthermore, the series is expected to include three variants including a Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 version and two Snapdragon 870 versions, both of which will use a 2K resolution 120Hz LCD screen.
Reportedly, the main difference between these models is their camera and battery. The Snapdragon 870 version uses a 48MP main camera while the 860 version only has 12MP. They support fast charging of 67W and 22.5W respectively.
About its display, it will have an LCD screen that supports a 120Hz high refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate.
