Following the first stable MIUI 12.5 release for Mi 10 Ultra in March, Xiaomi has sent the newest update to several eligible Redmi, Mi, and Poco smartphones. Meanwhile, the Mi CC9 Pro is the latest to receive MIUI 12.5.
Since the device is exclusive to China, the update is limited to China ROM users. It should be mentioned that the global variant of Mi CC9 Pro, which is Mi Note 10 has been already updated to MIUI 12.5.

Anyways, the fresh firmware for the CC9 Pro holds the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 V12.5.4.0.RFDCNXM. And, to experience it users will have to download and install the package of 3.3GB on their handsets.
When we talk about its changelog, it only mentions system lag reduction and system stability improvements. However, we already know that MIUI 12.5 brings a completely new UI, a bunch of new and improved features, system animations, new sounds, super wallpapers, and much more.
Adding to this, it has an interesting feature that is MIUI+, which lets users combining their phone and PC into a single working station. The official claimed that the system memory usage has dropped by an average of 35% and power consumption by 25% in terms of fluency.
