Xiaomi is sending a new MIUI 12.5 beta update for its eligible Redmi and Mi smartphones in China. Identified via the built version 21.7.16, this update comes with fewer changes in the Calendar and Calculator app.
As per the changelog, it fixes some Calendar and Calculator issues that affect the user experience. Also, it improves the stability of the calculator app. Besides, the changelog for the update doesn’t mention any major changes or new features.

Besides, due to the problem of the setup crash being repaired, the test results of Mi CC9 Pro will be released later. MIUI 12.5 release status
Following China in March, Xiaomi has started to roll out the stable MIUI 12.5 update for its eligible smartphones worldwide. In the beginning, the company has only sent updates to new smartphones that run Android 11 OS.
Recently, the OEM has begun sending updates to older smartphones that run Android 10 such as Xiaomi Mi 8, Mi 8 Lite, Mi Max 3, and Redmi 7.
