Xiaomi’s second hand Mi 6 is more valuable than Mi 8

Launched back in 2017, Xiaomi’s Mi 6 is among the most popular flagship of its age. Recently, it was reported that there are still 2.15 million users of Mi 6 smartphones.

Now following the new information from second-hand trading platforms, the second-hand price of Xiaomi Mi 6 is more valuable than Xiaomi Mi 8. On the Xianyu platform, the second-hand price of Mi 6 passes 600 yuan ($93).

Whereas, the second-hand price of the Mi 8 is less than 600 yuan ($93). The release time difference between the two is more than one year. While Mi 6 was launched in 2017, Mi 8 went official in 2018.

There’s nothing not to believe that Xiaomi Mi 6 is a classic device. This smartphone is the last small screen device, which has a 5.15-inch screen before the giant screen madness.

Besides, a 5.15-inch display, the Mi 6 comes with a resolution of 1920×1080, a 3350mAh battery, Snapdragon 835 SoC, and more. In the camera department, this device uses a 12MP AI dual Photograph.

When we talk about its software, it came pre-installed with the Android 7 (Nougat) based MIUI 8 operating system. Currently, the device is running on Android 9 (Pie).

Xiaomi Mi 8:

The Mi 8 sports a 6.21-inch Super AMOLED with 1080 x 2248 pixels resolution. It comes with Snapdragon 845 mobile platform, 3400 mAh battery, a dual rear camera of 12MP, and a single selfie shooter of 20MP.

When we talk about its software, it came pre-installed with Android 8.1 (Oreo) based MIUI 10 OS. Recently, the device has received the latest MIUI 12.5 update in China, will be soon followed by other region users.
