Xiaomi to fix touch screen problem of Redmi Note 9 via next update

The entire Redmi Note series is very popular worldwide, especially because of its affordable price and high-end features. Similarly, the Redmi Note 9 series is being loved by its multiple users.

Recently, a few users of the Redmi Note 9 have begun complaining about touch screen problems with their handsets. According to affected users, their phone’s touch screen has gotten pretty bad after a recent MIUI 12 update.

Some Xiaomi community members said that this has happened because of the jump from Android 10 to Android 11. It is believed that these issues should go away on their own after some time.

However, in response to a report, an Intern Moderator said that this issue has been already reported to developers and it will be fixed in the next update.

Redmi Note 9

The Redmi Note 9 smartphone was launched in April 2020. It came pre-installed with Android 10 based MIUI 11 OS. Soon after its release, the company has sent  MIUI 12 update for it. Meanwhile, recently, the device has been updated to Android 11 and now the company is planning to release MIUI 12.5 for it.

Besides software, Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 is a power-packed budget device. It features a 6.53-inch FHD+ DotDisplay, with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, and a powerful 5,020mAh battery.

In terms of camera, the device offers an AI Quad-camera setup at its rear. It includes a 48MP Primary ISOCELL Plus sensor, an 8MP Ultra-Wide-Angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and another 2MP macro lens. The selfie shooter is mounted with a 13MP lens that is capable of clicking stunning portraits.
