After completing the MIUI 12.5 rollout to almost all new smartphones, Xiaomi has recently started sending the MIUI 12.5 update to its older smartphones such as Mi 8 and Mi Max 3.
In the recent development, the OEM has sent the update to Redmi 7 phones. Identified via the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 build version V12.5.1.0.QFLCNXM, the update weighs 2.1GB. Since it is more than 1GB, we recommend, download and install it using an unmetered connection or WiFi.
