Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has already started manufacturing the Redmi K50 series. Yesterday, Lu Weibing, the president of Xiaomi Group and general manager of the Redmi brand said that their team is discussing what features the next-generation product should come with.
Actually, the discussion is on the successor to the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition. Of course, we expect this smartphone to be the Redmi K50 Game Enhanced Edition. As of now, the company is still asking fans what they expect from this device.

We know that the current Redmi K40 gaming version uses the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 flagship chip. But for K50, Xiaomi fans are calling for the use of Qualcomm Snapdragon processors.
As for the Dimensity 1200, Lu Weibing once published a highly praised report, saying that the Dimensity 1200 is very good in actual measurement. He said that this chip comes with better power consumption and energy efficiency. Also, the new upgraded engine makes its gaming function better.
There is no doubt that among the many flagship chips in 2021, the Dimensity 1200 gives outstanding performance. Thus, it still remains mysterious whether the manufacturer will use a Snapdragon chip or will still use a Dimensity processor to control the price.
To remember, the Redmi K40 series has four models – Redmi K40, K40 Pro, K40 Pro+, and K40 gaming edition. Among them, the vanilla uses Snapdragon 870 chip while the Pro and Pro+ equip Snapdragon 888 processor.
