On May 26, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi officially uncovered the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G smartphones in China. However, the smartphone is also official globally and in India but in the 4G variant. While the news about its 5G debut is already surfing online.
Anyways, the OEM is now providing a new software update for the phone in its home country. The new update can be identified via the Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 build version V12.5.5.0.RKPCNXM.
JOIN XIAOMI ON TELEGRAM
It adds support for the Google Play Services framework as well as optimizes the audio performance. Besides, the official changelog for the update doesn’t mention any major changes of new features.
Previously, the device received V12.5.1.0.RKPCNXM, which reduces the system lag. It further improves the system’s security and stability for a better user experience.
