After the successful release of MIUI 12.5, Xiaomi is now preparing to introduce MIUI 13. In the recent few weeks, we have heard much about the upcoming MIUI 13, some are real and some are fake.

Meanwhile, going by the new information by a reliable Weibo blogger, Xiaomi is testing the new system, MIUI 13. In addition, the tipster also reveals that the smartphones of the last two years will be updated to the new-gen MIUI.

Xiaomi’s MIUI 12.5 has been steadily rolling out to eligible devices over the past few weeks. So far, most of the flagships, as well as newer smartphones, have received the update while the older phones such as Mi Mix 2S, Mix 3S, Mi 8, etc are yet to receive it.

The steady push of MIUI 12.5 means that we will not have to wait too long for the release of MIUI 13. Recently, it was reported that the upcoming Mi Mix 4 will equip MIUI 13. If the information comes true, MIUI 13 will debut in the second half of 2021.

It should be mentioned that MIUI 13 can be deeply optimized for tablets. In this regard, Xiaomi Xu Jieyun had earlier revealed that this year’s tablet system will be the focus of MIUI.

Besides, previously, we have been reported that this time, Xiaomi could introduce the new version of its custom skin MIUI 13 based on Android 12. Unlike old tales of MIUI that are based on at least two Android versions, MIUI 13 will completely be different.

If this report goes real then Mi Mix 4 will be the first Xiaomi smartphone that will come pre-installed with Android 12 based MIUI 13. Right now, this is just speculation and I cannot confirmation anything in this regard, at least for now.
