Earlier in January this year, Xiaomi officially launched Redmi 9T smartphones globally. It is known for maintaining a cheaper price along with several features.
When we talk about its software, it runs Android 10 based MIUI 12 OS out of the box but is eligible to receive the Android 11 update. And soon as the device will receive Android 11, the company will prepare to roll out MIUI 12.5 for it.

On the other hand, the Redmi 9T is now getting the May 2021 Android security patch for users’ experience enhancement. It will further save your device from bugs and viruses and will improve the security of your device’s system.
However, the changelog for the update doesn’t mention any new features or major changes. Users can easily identify it via build version V12.0.5.0.QJQTRXM and can download it in around 2.6GB of data.
