Xiaomi is releasing new MIUI 12.5 beta update with stability improvements

After introducing the newest MIUI 12.5 custom skin in all of the major smartphone markets, Xiaomi has begun sending the MIUI 12.5 updates in these countries. Several smartphones have already received the update while many are about to.

At the same time, the OEM hasn’t stopped sending beta updates in its home country. Similarly, Xiaomi is now sending a new MIUI 12.5 beta update, which can be identified via the build version 21.6.2.

Moreover, the changelog for the update doesn’t mention any major changes but a few bug fixes. As per the information, it fixes stability issues in Wallpapers as well as improves the stability of Mi Mutual Transmission.

Recently, the MIUI development team has reported that the arrival of MIUI 12.5 will be delayed for many devices. It should be noted that this is happening due to optimization issues with Android R (Android 11) of this new version of MIUI.

The report further reveals the name of the affected devices, which are – Mi CC9 (Mi 9 Lite), Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition, Mi 9 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 8 Pro. Anyways, the arrival of MIUI 12.5 to these is expected for July via Global ROM.
