Back in March this year, Xiaomi officially launched Mi 10S smartphones in China. The phone came pre-installed with Android 11 based MIUI 12 OS. However, we already knew that it is eligible for the latest MIUI 12.5 update.
And now, after sending MIUI 12.5 to several Redmi and Mi smartphones, it’s finally the turn for Xiaomi Mi 10S. In the recent development, the OEM has expanded the MIUI 12.5 to Mi 10S.
Identified via the build version V12.5.1.0.RGACNXM, the firmware weighs approx 5.1GB. Thus, users should download and install it by using an unmetered connection of WiFi.

Moreover, the changelog for the update mentions a handful of new and improved features, major UI changes as well as the April 2021 Android security patch. With custom device model adjustments, MIUI became lighter, faster, and more durable.
The new UI design is focused on visualization and making your interaction with the device more lifelike. Nature mix is a new exciting way of creating your own notification sound system. All apps now come with a security statement from GetApps.
It further adds, hundreds of system sounds that represent animals from all around the world, stereo system sound, mount Siguniang super wallpaper, new tools for doodling and sketching new design for app folders, “Ripples” animation for downloading apps, “Burst” animation for uninstalling apps, and more.
