Xiaomi has just published a new patent, with a flexible screen module. This flexible screen includes a first display area and a second display area. The second display area includes a sub-area and the camera assembly is arranged in the sub-area of the second display area.
The driving component is used to drive the flexible screen and the camera assembly to move synchronously so that the second display area is switched between the first position and the second position.

Moreover, when the second display area is at the first position, the first display area is used as a front display area, and the second display area is used as a back display area, and the camera assembly is used to obtain an image behind the flexible screen module.
And, when the second display area is in the second position, the sub-area of the second display area is used as a part of the front display area, the camera assembly is used to obtain an image in front of the flexible screen module.
Although, when the front-facing camera is not required, the device can achieve a high screen-to-body ratio that nears 100 percent.
